something that especially annoys you

Pet peeve: exemplos

  • One of my pet peeves is typos.
  • This is just a pet peeve of mine. (É só uma implicância minha.)
  • What is your pet peeve? (O que costuma te deixar irritado?)
  • Weak coffee is one of my pet peeves.
  • A teachers’ pet peeve is people getting late in class.
  • Grammatical mistakes are his pet peeve.
  • One of my biggest pet peeves is people driving too slowly on the left.

Vale conferir.

  36. I' ve been in contact with English for many many years and one thing I have noticed is that for a lot of expressions in English we don't have a similar one in Portuguese, one that has a similar meaning or something like that.
