Get one’s own back” é o que eles dirão em inglês.

= She was sick and tired of his practical jokes – she’s getting her own back now.
  • Ainda vou me vingar de você um dia destes. = I’m still going to get my own back on you some day.

  • I’ll get my own back on him when I have the opportunity.

See you! Have a nice holiday and weekend as well! Take care…

  1. Well, I guess this post is long forgotten but I thought I'd just add something. When they want to say something meaning revenge, they'll also say "pay back in kind", like inSince Joan found out her boyfriend had been cheating on her, she has been paying him back.I know Danny really screwed up this time, but I know better than to just pay back.Getting your payback is sweet, but not at all satisfying. That's it! Btw, congrats for your blog, Denilso!RegardsMarcos
